Currently, salad pizza is one of the most striking variants of this meal. Initially, it was conceived as a healthy alternative, to encourage people to eat in a balanced way and, above all, not to see in an incompatible way the vegetables, vegetables, and fast foods.

Ingredients for the dough:

  3. 1 cup of water (250 ml)
  4. 1 medium onion (40 g)
  5. 2 ½ cups flour (300 g)
  6. 1 jar of fried tomato (300 g)
  7. 2 tablespoons of yeast (30 g)
  8. 1 small lettuce head
  9. Condiments: salt, black pepper, oregano
  10. To taste: boneless black olives, anchovies

Classic salad pizza

Preparation:

  1. First, we proceed to sift the flour. Next, place it in a bowl and add the two tablespoons of yeast.
  2. We make a space in the center and pour a splash of olive We add a little water (at room temperature) and proceed to mix with the help of a hand mixer. We must get a mass consistent enough.
  3. Let the dough rest at room temperature for 40 minutes. For this, we should place it in a container with a lid.
  4. Preheat the oven to 200 ºC.

Arugula salad pizza

Ingredients:

  1. Olive oil
  2. 1 cup of water (250 ml)
  3. 2 ½ cups flour (300 g)
  4. 1 jar of fried tomato (300 g)
  5. 2 tablespoons of yeast (30 g)
  6. 5 cups of mozzarella cheese (about 500 g)
  7. 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (100 g)
  8. 1 tray of cured ham or prosciutto (about 150 g)
  9. Condiments: salt, black pepper, fresh parsley
  10. Arugula leaves (enough to cover the pizza)
  11. Optional: fresh garlic, spinach leaves

Arugula salad pizza

Preparation:

  1. As in the previous recipe, we must prepare the pizza dough first and let it rest, at least, half an hour before starting to knead it.
