Christmas is around the corner once again, and although it is an enjoyable time of the year it can also be pretty stressful! Here are some of the biggest stresses that we face at Christmas and how you can get around them and actually get to relax and enjoy the festive season!

The Difficult to Buy for Family Member – We all have at least one of these in the family and it is a nightmare to find a gift for them! There are a few things that you can do. You can go and have a browse in the shops to see if anything jumps out at you that may not have crossed your mind such as this brown Secrid wallet from EJ Menswear. Or you could look into a practical gift or even a charity donation in their name if you really can’t think what they would want.

Planning Christmas Dinner – This is the big meal of the year and it often can feel like the pressure is on to get it right! The key to this is planning. If you make a list and a schedule and do a lot of the jobs the day before then you won’t have as much to do on Christmas day – or better still get someone to bring a dish each!

The Family Arguments – Unfortunately booze and too much time together at this time of year can fuel arguments. If this is the case, then it may be a good idea to try to have a few hours apart and chill out rather than having too many people together for a longer period of time.
