Almond milk pancakes are a lighter version of classic American pancakes. They will be perfect to start the day with an edge. Here is the recipe

The pancakes almond milk are also excellent for Sunday brunch or for children’s snacks. They are usually served with maple syrup but between one layer and the other, you can spread some jam or hazelnut cream. These sweet scones are super easy to make.

So let’s see together how to prepare them and some useful tips.

Ingredients

  • 1 glass of 00 flour
  • 1 glass of almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons of seed oil
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla yeast
  • to taste maple syrup

Preparation

  • To prepare almond milk pancakes, first put all the ingredients (except maple syrup) in a blender and blend until you get a smooth and homogeneous batter. It must be more compact than that of the crepes.
  • Let it all rest for at least 15 minutes. You will notice, after this time, that bubbles will begin to form on the surface.
  • Now heat a pan, preferably non-stick, and grease it lightly with a drizzle of seed oil. If you want to be sure, repeat this for each pancake. Pour in a quarter of your batter and spread it by swirling the pan. Let it cook until you notice that bubbles begin to form on the surface. At this point, using a spatula, turn the pancake and continue cooking for a couple of minutes.
  • Now place it on a plate and continue preparing the others. Once ready, place them one on top of the other, forming the characteristic pancake tower. If you wish, you can spread between one layer and the other some hazelnut cream or jam.
  • Serve them with plenty of maple syrup.
  • Alternatively, you can prepare Nutella pancakes or classic pancakes.Almond milk pancakes
