Cake with nuts and molasses

INGREDIENTS (approx 24x12x7 plum cake mold.)

  • 100 gr. melted butter
  • 200 gr. brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla paste
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 230 gr. flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 70 gr. nuts
  • a pinch of salt

PREPARATION

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees and we covered the pan with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl beat the butter with the sugar until well combined and creamy.
  • Then incorporate the eggs one at a time beating well.
  • Add to the mixture the remaining liquid ingredients, and salt. Mix well.
  • Finally incorporated with a spatula sifted flour with yeast.
  • We spent half of the dough to the pan, put half of the nuts on top, the other half of the dough and nuts crowning mass remaining.
  • Bake about 45 minutes, best to test the stick comes out clean you know, ready. Let cool about 10 minutes in pan on a wire rack then. Ale, to enjoy it.
